The Cheap Trick/Blondie dates are co-headlining shows. Some shows Cheap Trick will open, some shows Cheap Trick will close. All bands will play a 75-minute set – regardless of who opens or closes. Set times are TBA - we suggest you get there early and enjoy both bands!

“Rick Nielsen and Cheap Trick should really need no introduction…..but I have to try. Rick may claim that they are everyone’s fifth favourite band but, in reality, they are the godfathers of power pop and one of the most highly influential bands in rock history. Über Röck loves Cheap Trick and so should you! Kudos to Rick for handling Dom Daley’s thick Welsh accent so well, and kudos to Mrs Daley for handling the cost of the transatlantic phone calls so well…..what, she doesn’t know yet……..”

12/27 – Miami, FL – Landshark Stadium – CT on at noon. This is a pre-game event at noon (kickoff is at 1pm) on the TailGate Stage in the Grand Plaza of Landshark Stadium. You must purchase a ticket to the game (Dolphins vs Texans) in order to go to the Cheap Trick show.

CHEAP TRICK were honored to participate as musical guests in the 10th Annual “An Evening with Scott Hamilton and Friends” event at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland on November 7, 2009.
The band was accompanied by the Cleveland Pops Orchestra as the world-class figure skating ensemble performed. American Idol Top 5 Finalist Brooke White also performed a few numbers with the ensemble. The cast of skaters read like a Who’s Who of their industry – Kristi Yamaguchi, Steven Cousins, John Zimmerman, Caryn Kadavy, Josef Sobovcek, Todd Eldredge, Melissa Gregory, Denis Petukhov, Dan Hollander, Silvia Fontana, Ilia Kulik, Katia Gordeeva, Jeff Buttle, and Jennifer Robinson joined the inimitable Scott Hamilton.
The band and Scott have been friends for 28 years and didn’t hesitate when Scott called to ask if they would like to participate. The sold-out event benefited the Scott Hamilton CARES Initiative – a partnership between Scott Hamilton and the Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute.
