The footy season has started tonight albeit for lower league sides,the elite teams like The Mighty Swans don't start untill next week. Big Grin

Good luck to all involved especially my dear friends Robins and Pachyderm's Owls. Rolleyes

Daz - I sincerely hope you and your Swans family have a memorable first season back amongst the elite, and that unlike others, you're just not on a 9 month round-trip ticket... Whatever happens, enjoy the ride and enjoy every sandwich.

My beloved Bristol City start at home tomorrow to Ipswich. Looking at the large number of far wealthier clubs in the Championship (e.g Leicester - trying to buy promotion perchance?), we should be lucky to finish mid-table. I can't see us getting closer (for a long, long time) than the 90 minutes we were from the Prem League when we took the field at Wembley for the Championship Play Off final in 08.

It's going to be a long season I fear, and I wouldn't bet on Milly still being at City in May.

I bet Chopra wishes he could play us every week, I've lost count how many goals he's scored against us.

Oh, ditto the Scumdiff sentiment, but sadly I'm 99% sure our fail will be bigger than theirs.
