Occupy Milwaukee - CT Connection

[Cheap Tribute]

The current site where the Occupy Milwaukee camp is taking place is located on the former site of Humpin' Hanna's - a legendary Milwaukee basement bar where Cheap Trick played constantly from 1973-1976. The building was torn down decades ago, and is now called "Garden Park" in Riverwest. Ironically one of the only empty lots in that neighborhood. Hanna's also hosted Lou Reed, Herman's Hermits (without Peter Noone) and many other local and national acts. Penny beer night was a big draw.
