RE: Creedence Clearwater Revival
:unclesam: C.C.R.'s music is a staple of radio airplay world wide. They have sold over 26 million albums in the U.S. alone. "Lookin' Out My Back Door"?, "Sweet Hitch Hiker"?, which are your favourites ?
To the regiment. I wish I was there.

So hard to pick just one, but chose Green River. Love to hear CCR on the radio, or at home Smile

RE: Creedence Clearwater Revival
From your list, I voted for "Up Around The Bend". I have been humming "Born On The Bayou" infrequently for the past month.

My single disc C.C.R. compilation goes like this:
1. Born On The Bayou
2. Penthouse Pauper
3. Proud Mary
4. Green River
5. Commotion
6. Bad Moon Rising
7. Lodi
8. I Put A Spell On You
9. Suzy Q
10. Down On The Corner
11. Fortunate Son
12. Midnight Special
13. Traveling Band
14. Looking Out My Front Door
15. Run Through The Jungle
16. Up Around The Bend
17. Who'll Stop The Rain
18. I Heard It Through The Grapevine
19. Long As I Can See The Light
20. Have You Ever Seen The Rain
21. Hey Tonight
22. Sweet Hitch-hiker

I think I have all their studio releases on compact disc but started with one of those K-tell like "best of" collections on vinyl.
All things must pass

Thumbs Up  RE: Creedence Clearwater Revival
Wow! Tough choice. I randomly chose "Fortunate Son"...and whereas I'm not an over the top fan of C.C.R. - I do LOVE their stuff!

I love their covers of "Suzi Q" & "Good Golly Miss Molly"! too!
"This damnedable stuff is burning a hole in the ship's carpet!"
